Bennett's 5th birthday party was yesterday, just a few days off from his actual birthday. He is so into super heroes, so it was pretty easy to pick a theme. His cake is Captain America's shield. The acitvities included finding clues from a super villian who "stole" their super capes. Once found, they decorated the capes with felt. I created them from t-shirts from Goodwill. He says it was his best birthday ever. All in all, a good day.
So Abby's birthday was in January, but I forgot to post these. It was just a small immediate family affair. I made carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. They were a big hit.
